Book Summary:

In which a young orphan guarded in solitary in the Switchboard Operating Facility makes friends with the daughter of the building’s owner. Ever Barnes and Hannah Morgan live in the steampunk city of Oskars which is in risk of starting a war with the neighboring city. The two discover a secret that might prevent it and must work together to prevent rogues from taking advantage of Ever’s secret. He and Hannah work together to get to the bottom of the secret that links their two families together.
