Book Summary:

In which a service robot is shipwrecked on a deserted island and must learn to live in the wilderness and make friends with the animals. Rox decides to adopt an orphaned baby gosling, Brightbill, and show him the ropes, which proves difficult given she isn’t a gosling. Rox must do her best to be a good mother for Brightbill as she co-parents with unexpected pairing, a fox called Fink. She considers the animals of the island her family and will do anything to protect them from the outside world. Her abilities are tested as the mothership wants her back, can she prevail?
