Book Summary:

In which a wealthy hobbit gets tangled in a quest for treasure by a group of dwarfs sent by the legendary wizard, Gandalf the Grey, who plan to use him as their master thief, even though Bilbo Baggins has no experience in that area. They must survive the long perilous journey and fight off goblins, giants, and humongous spiders in order to complete their quest. Bilbo manages to acquire a magical ring through his wits and works his way to earning his title as master thief.
