Book Summary:
In which the citizens of the Protectorate are by the Council of the Elders forced to sacrifice the youngest child in the village to the “evil” witch of the woods in order to be safe for another year. Little did they know that Xan saved the children from the woods and brought the babies, the dubbed Star Children, to the Free Cities on the other side of the Bog.
